Desert Party: Burn the Pegacorn!
Every year, my #burnerfam friends gather on a dry lake bed somewhere in the Mojave Desert, to share food, drink, and firey fun. This weekend, some of them built this magical wooden Pegacorn.
The sun began to set above the cracked, dried playa, and we gathered round to see the pyrotechnics, both natural and manmade.
We raised a glass to toast our friendship as the Pegacorn went down in a blaze of glory.
This looks like an amazing experience. fire is so elemental and speaks to us on such a deep instinctual level.
I stopped by to tell you about the Riverside meetup and you already had resteemed it. I am going to try to make it. Afternoon is a bit more doable for me :)
And while I am at it, I am going to share the San Diego meetup I am organizing...

Oh hell ya!! That is awesome. How many people go out there for this? I'm gonna have to try to join you guys for one of these someday.
I am doing my best to bring the Burners into Steemit and vice versa!
This particular camp out tends to be smaller, like a dozen, but this year a lot of folks showed up...including the Pegacorn!
Oh gosh, I would have loved to see that first hand! Thanks for the post. :)
