First shot looks like NJ. I could lay down on that bench and nap! The second is breath taking. I'm thinking that it was shot last year?? No snow..Is this area pretty much snow covered until July? I agree with @robertandrew that this would be (a tough) but beautiful place to hike.
That first one looks like a bench on the fairway of a golf course ?? And the second one looks like a Trail going up a mountain. One that I would enjoy hiking on ;)

Last July, the hike itself to the lake is surprisingly easy though. It’s snow covered till about June or so!
