Description: The Buthus ibericus is an iberian scorpion species, endemic to Portugal and western Spain. This beautiful specimen was photographed in the Alentejo region (southern Portugal).
With a little luck, I was able to photograph a drop of venom trickling down the stinger of this fearless friend (you can click on the photo to see it in full resolution)...
