I'll put in as much time as I could to get better but I don't know about making it a career :). How about you?
I see it as a career for me already, I study a lot and try meeting other photographers who inspire and lecture me. If it's something beautiful to you as much as you love doing it then there's so much a chance that it could come in handy as a career for you.
