The incredible Perito Moreno Glacier, Argentina
My first stop in Patagonia (South Argentina) was to see the Perito Moreno Glacier. Being one of the worlds only advancing glaciers, it plays a huge role in Argentina's tourist economy. It's size makes it very accessible from a variety of locations, however the best way to get there is from El Calafate. A 2 hour bus takes you directly to the entrance of the national park within which the glacier is located.

Patagonia is amazing. did you do a hike on the glacier?
Unfortunately not! I didn't know that was possible before I got there and so I didn't have the right gear for it
Ah damn it. There are several companies that manage trips. I believe the have gear aswell
Beautiful shot! I'm super jealous. What a powerful scene.
Gorgeous! Some day I will get there...
