Bicycle Building for the Summer

in #photography7 years ago

Started putting the Bicycle together today and just thought I'd share it with you guys!!
Wish I still had the photos when I first bought this beauty. She was a piece of work rusted everywhere which is why she's so much more exciting for me to put together.
Individually has a lot of amazing parts too.
Most of the parts are from the 80's but at the time were close to the top of their class.

The saddle itself is quite rare. Not unavailable online, but you don't see them very often anymore.
The San Marco Concor saddle was one of my favorites when I first started getting into cycling. And I actually got myself another, this one is made of brown suede though. They are very comfortable, durable, and look amazing!

These images are quite blurry but of the front shifter and the crank.
Shimano 600 shifters were highly sought after back in the day, maybe not top of the line but were common on upper-middle level bicycles.
The gipimme dual sprint crank however was one of the best. Very light weight and the beginning of aluminum parts. Durable, light weight, and Italian. Love everything about this crankset.
The front fork I love as well.

Took it off of my other bike for the fact that I was in an accident and the frame is unusable anymore.
It was nice to be able to take a piece from that bike because it gives me the confidence not to be scared of getting in another accident such as that one. And that I need to get back on and not let my fears control me.
Here's just two last photos I like to call bike-porn cause of how hot the bike is haha.

Thanks for looking! Any questions or comments please leave them below. Upvote if you enjoyed and if youd like to see more or the finished product in a couple days please follow!!
