City garden of Odessa
The city garden, the first park of Odessa, was laid in 1803 by the brothers Jose and Felix de Ribas almost immediately after the founding of the city. There are many sculptures and monuments that have become truly symbols of Odessa: the sculpture of a lion and lions with lions, the monument "The Twelfth Chair", installed in honor of the book by Ilf and Petrov, the monument to Leonid Utyosov, who is very honored in Odessa, as well as a monument to the pilot and athlete of the early XX century Sergei Utochkin. Today, in a newly restored new park, there is a singing fountain and a round indoor stage where concerts are held.
