A View From a Different World
A general is speaking to his soldiers, or a warrior tribe has gathered. They may be so different from our species, that their whole purpose may be alien to us. In fact, these may BE aliens from another world entirely. A world of enchinoderms or arthropods or lobster-like creatures. If we catch or conquer them, maybe we can eat them!
