The Spring is yet to come!?
Even if we are already in the middle of the March, we still have some snow in Transylvania, our climate has lately changed much. So is not a friendly wheather to do trips, because is a lot of mud in the forest paths. I took a look into my previous year pictures folder and found some great pics of my trips near my home. I love making macros. I choose to show you today a few of my shooting on frozen chesnuts ...
Short description: The chestnut trees are a genus of nine species; in Transylvanian we encounter two of them sweet chestnuts which are edible and should not be confused with the second one, the horse chesnuts, which are similar appearance, but are poisonus to humans.
Edible chestnuts cooking methods: boil, roast or grill them and you will have a slightly sweet flavour, softening texture and the consistency of a potato. You can use them in soup, desserts our puree them.
... and a few pictures with fresh chestnuts.
I also present you my beloved cane corso female, Maya and her best friend Andrei, a crossbreed dog. They are my guide and protectors during my walks :).
What about you? Which is your favourite dog breed? If you have a dog, feel free to put a picture of him/her and make a short personal breed description so we all learn more about them.
All the best, Ella
I love Dobermanns. I have one. he actually takes part in races haha
