I certainly drink chamomile tea more often than eat chicken, though the chicken in the poem ought to have been eaten, too!
Not to spoil anything, but I think he eventually was ;)
...and the Chamomile survivors rejoiced with a sense of vengeance !!! ;-)
... grow in power and take over the world with all their Chamomileness :p
...or at least, provide the world with a relaxing cup of tea! ;-)
And then we would have world peace :)
