I found this monster in the bathroom!
This is House centipede (Scutigera coleoptrata)

Although it looks threatening, it is actually very fragile.
Catch her without damaging, quite difficult, she also runs very fast!
But I did it! :)
She spent the night at the jar, and the next day i did her a photoshoot on cucumber foliage.

For a human centipede is not dangerous, she can bite only if she is grabbed. But the likelihood that it will be able to bite the human skin is small. Although once the centipede bit my girlfriend, she says, it seems like a bee sting.

But for small insects this is a dangerous predator! Lightning-fast reaction and speed allow it to catch flying insects, such as flies, they don't have time to fly up!
Living at home, it can be useful, will be catch cockroaches and other insects.
The main thing that you have steel nerves, the rapidly running centipede causes instinctive fear ;)

In nature, centipedes live in the forest floor. She hibernates under the exfoliated bark of trees and similar shelters. Surprisingly, her life span can reach seven years! If at home you find a centipede, do not rush to kill it. It's best to carefully cover it with a jar. Under the jar, slip a sheet of paper and turn it over. I caught the centipede in this manner. And then, if you are not ready to live with it in your home, release it in nature, better in a copse or forest. Ours photo model we released on nature))

I hope my story was interesting, and you learned something new!
Thank you for watching! :)

Nice photos and a good story I learned a lot. I will be more caring next time I see one in my house!
