Light painting involves setting up a tripod at night, taking a long exposure, and lighting the scene with flashlights, glowsticks, etc. I've lit waterfalls with a flashlight a few times. It's a lot of fun but, at least where I live, the mosquitos feast.
I don't know but there's a pretty hefty fine for anyone who steps into the protected wetlands...
