[Day 2] Trip to Germany to collect a parcel
Living in Switzerland means leaving outside of the European Union and this in turn means, that many companies like Amazon won't ship their products to you.
But Germans are smart business people.
Therefore, you have everywhere around the Swiss-German border crafty merchants, offering their mailbox-address for a small fee.
And so you will meet many Swiss people in villages such as Gottmadingen carrying heavy parcels. Me inclusive.
I learned today that many elderly people are in this business, to bolster their pension.
And so these old barns find a second usage as parcel entrepot.
