Yes that´s for sure a beautiful place with a lot of history in placed like most of this old arab monuments in the south of Spain in Andalusia. I will post an article about this place in a few weeks.

I did a little longer post about it last winter, too, with more history. The last Berber ruler, as the legend goes, looked back on Alhambra as they made their way into exile and wept. His mother told him "Do not cry like a woman for what you could not defend as a man.

The author, Washington Irving, actually lived in the palace for a time.

If you have the chance, I recommend taking a night tour as well as the daytime one. It's a different experience completely.

Yeah. We got fairly close to visiting in it on Christmas @fotosdenada when we were staying in the region but in the end we went to Rhonda for the day instead, which was a bit closer.

We had a great day in Rhoda though so we didn't mind. 😁

Ronda is beautiful. I lived there for a year and never wanted to leave.
