Every photo in my articles is licensed from the respective photographers and will usually include a story from that photographer about their experiences. San Juan, Puerto Rico

Government Building located in the heart of San Juan. The building is all marble on the outside, and the ceiling has paintings of important parts of Puerto Rican history.

This is the San Juan cemetery and as you can see, people are buried above ground. Many caskets are crumbling considering how old they are.

Located near the cruise port is a square filled with vendors and monuments. As you can tell, most buildings are painted beautiful, pastel colours.

This is the cruise port customs centre in San Juan. You can see the American flags on the building, since Puerto Rico is one of the territories of the United States of America.

I was fortunate enough to visit San Juan, Puerto Rico in March of 2015 while on an Eastern Caribbean cruise. The city is gorgeous, with nice beaches and good shopping. There are plenty of American stores, such as Payless Shoe Source, since Puerto Rico is a territory of the USA. When I visited, I took a bus tour of Old San Juan, and saw many landmarks as seen in a few photos. The most amazing place I got to visit while I was here was Castillo San Felipe del Morro, which was a castle built in the 16th century. If I had the chance to stay in Puerto Rico for more than a few hours, I would definitely take up that opportunity!

    Thanks! I've got more coming down the pipeline. I will try to keep posting at least one article a day. I love traveling, so giving people access to travel stories from all around the globe, seemed like a great way to add value to the community.
