Light Painting with a Drone
So, here is a simple photography technique using a long exposure and a drone at night. You will need a camera that allows you to adjust the shutter speed and a tripod so that the camera stays steady during the shot.
For this shot I used the manual settings mode with a 30 second shutter speed. The ISO was set to 100 to avoid noise and the aperture was set wide enough to achieve the level of brightness I wanted. Set the camera to save the RAW file if you want to have more flexibility during the editing process when adjusting the exposure.
This picture is of a micro drone flying inside my living room using the same settings. If this post gets enough attention I will create some more night shots with the big drone over the ocean while there is something on fire that is tied to the bottom of the drone.
