Сolourfulphotography Garden Harvest
#Colorfulphotography Thursday is back and here I am again with a few of my photos. These are some of the vegetable and herbs I grew in my garden last summer. I've never been a gardener myself, but my grandparents had a pretty big back yard full of all kinds of vegetables, herbs, fruits and whatnot.
For some reason I enjoy growing a little bit of everything available to me during summer times and have my own herbs that I can dry afterwards and vegetables to make salads of :).
Even my beautiful kitty cat loves gardens, all she does in summertime is lay around tomato plants haha. Oh yeah, go ahead and check out @juliank's blog for more photography contests!

Wow!NThat’s nice!I still remember times when I could go to my own garden and pick some fresh cucumbers and tomatoes for morning salad, it’s a big deal now to have your own veggies!Cant wait to have my own house to be able to do that, even though I’m not a gardener as well but having something that you know is fresh and healthy is just awesome;)Say hello to your beautiful cat from me
Thank you! Definitely, I love being able to grow a little bit of my own veggies and herbs each year, even though I have a very small area of our back yard dedicated to garden.
I actually saw some people grow tomatoes and herbs in pots on their balconies in the city, you could probably try doing that too if you have a sunny spot like that, could be a fun idea too haha.

Wow, now I'm jealous)))) I also grow my own veggies and herbs. Tomatoes, beets, peas and a few other things grow really well. But for some reasons my bell peppers never work out((( Either I do something wrong or the climate isn't right. Yours are champions!!! You have a green thumb.
Awesome, another gardener here :) I've never grown peas or beets myself, I don't have a lot of room to have a bigger garden either :(. But every time I would plant bell peppers they would grow just fine by themselves, all we do is water and weed the garden and it just . . . grows haha.
This photo is from 2016 when we had pretty much just peppers and like 2 tomato plants haha

I've been using neem oil as an organic pesticide, but it doesn't last very long.
Thank you very much! To be honest I don't use anything, all we did was water it and pull the weeds out, it just grows haha

Oh very colourfuly and I wrote post in this contest and with fruits too
