Arbat is one of the Central streets of Moscow, a symbol of its history.Before the revolution, representatives of the aristocracy lived here. In the 1930s-1950s Arbat was the state route on which Stalin and his motorcade passed to the Kremlin. There are many architectural monuments on the street.
In 1986 Arbat became a pedestrian street, one of the most popular places among tourists.
