Actually, there is a story. That building was the inn from the movie "Nights in Rodanthe". After a particularly violent storm, the house ended up in the water (or, the water ended up around the house). Believe it or not, crews went out into the ocean with equipment and lifted the house out of the surf and put it at a new location. It still stands, somewhere else.
