Rencong #2 : Tradisionally Production Process

The process of Rencong production is traditionally by using simple equipment that begins with an iron burning and struck to form a pointed, sharp blade.

The raw materials for making rencong handles come from buffalo horns or wood that shaped and carved then mashed to be a beautiful shape.

The use of Rencong in the nowdays does not serve as a means of war, but is used as a souvenir and on customary attire at cultural events.
