Thank you! You are absolutely right in your feelings. In summer, especially on a weekday, this place is very quiet and peaceful. And fishermen are swimming on the lake. But in our area fishermen do not use a canoe but a rubber inflatable boat. I myself sometimes swim along the lake in a boat. Our children really like to swim by boat on this lake. For them it's like a little trip.
When I was a child, our family would go to a lake in norther Ontario (Canada) each summer, and we'd swim in, and boat on lakes such as this. They were marvellously relaxing and blissful times, and they still give me great memories.
