Public Art in O'Leary Park, Eagan
The city did a public art project in O'Leary Park, along my usual walking trail. @tcpolymath has already posted some pictures of this park as part of a "Wednesday Walk."
I have to say I'm not sold on these, and I hope they're not a permanent installation. They're all sort of the same, and the written words overlaying the painting come off like (uninteresting) graffiti rather than a coherent design.
I haven't been able to find any information on the city website about this installation. It feels like a student project, which is a good thing--- students should have places like city parks where their art is visible to the community. On the other hand, the uniformity of design seems a wasted opportunity, and the art is unsigned (unless it's lost among all the other writing.) The art doesn't at all match the character of the park it's in, and the transparent acrylic doesn't highlight or frame any of the features behind it.

From Juliet: "These are from the Eagan Art Festival last year. It was the interactive art feature for the festival goers."
Weird. I poked some people on Facebook.
I thought I'd found the first bit of post-installation graffiti, but it appears to be there in my original photo:
