Midsummer Night's Light

in #photography8 years ago

Just went outside to take some photo's of the last light on the longest day/shortest night. Always a magic moment in my book. Good (midsummer's)night and groovy dreams to you all!

Many people consider this day important, and others do not even notice it :)

Very true, I tend to keep a middle ground between the two - I do consider it symbolical but I'm not off to Stonehenge to dance the (shortest) night away ;)
The longest night however, now there could be some party...

Very nice photos, I love them, they are very relaxing. Seeing the wonder of nature in its splendor is a privilege. And you captured it in these beautiful photos. Thank you for sharing them.

Thank you, much appreciated!

Yeah man... shame on me... I completely missed the date :(

thanks for letting me have a piece of your experience there ;)

I was actually almost ready for bed there, computer shut off and all, when it dawned (!) on me and I quickly went outside for a few snapshots. But hey, according to one of our calendars, it stays the longest day/shortest night for about a week! :D

yeah... I've made it to catch the sunrise yesterday... woohooo!

Awesome, catching a sunrise usually takes a lot more effort, nice one!

worth it, though...

oi, @weirdones is stitting at 100% VP, do something man :P

It looks really peaceful and eerie at the same time.
That's a cool thing to do :)

Cool, yeah, I do think it's a magical moment, even if it's only symbolic :)
