Coolioooo! I went to Flex to see Steve Rachmad a couple of years ago I thinkon my first trip back to Europe. He is a dear friend I booked for Bali before and he was great but I was a bit disappointed about the condition of this place I heard so much about when I lived in Asia. It feels run down IMO.....I like that mysterious artist you described.
Some would say that because it's run down is what makes it Flex in the first place. A little bit of grime here and there can be a good thing. They've worked on it a lot in the past couple of years though. The whole area around the canal is much more alive now. I suggest the "Hafenkneipe" in the summer which is a bit of ways walk down the river in the direction of Hundertwasserhaus.

Ja habe ich und ich kann es kaum glauben! Langsam finde ich wieder zu meiner Inspiration zurück da ich jetzt endlich das Gefühl habe das meine Arbeit jetzt Leute erreicht die das tatsächlich zu schätzen wissen. Klar nehm ich dich mal mit! It's an incredible development and I'm happy to be part of it.
