We take everything for granted.
All the richness life is, seems only important once it is lost.
Although every Now, which is our greatest present, is gone later. So we live in the past and the future, taking for granted what is right in front of us.

Once we have something, we do everything to keep it in a very strange way.
It’s like getting a gift, but breaking it by holding it too hardly, or even wanting more.
As soon as it gets comfortable, we stop and try to stay there.
Not in gratitude, but in egoism.
We pick the most beautiful flowers and put the freest birds into cages to make it ours. We seem to be ready to murder everything, except our own habitudes, concepts and fears.
We prefer to make people ‘ours’ than to acknolwedge their freedom and support their uniqueness and authenticity.

We prefer being secure than being honest
We prefer judging others than learning from own imperfections (running away from them)
We prefer to to lie (for harmony, comfort) than to be free and true
We prefer to stay in the known than discovering the secrets hidden in our hearts
As soon as something is challenging, we prefer to replace it
Instead of taking the courage and dedication to dive into the adventure that life is.

Can you be grateful for your body, before being sick, injured, old or dying?
Can you open your eyes to who/what is right in front of you now?
Can you take the risk of being true, no matter what the consequences are? Can you take the responsibility to be ALIVE?

Can you commit in your relationships, where challenges are inevitable, and support each other to dive deeper and deeper into the truest nature? Instead of dreaming of how it could be differently or even dream about how it would be more exciting with a new/other relationship?

Can you love the roses even if they have thrones?

Can you appreciate life with the constant changes?
Can your roots dive deeply into the ground instead of remaining in the comfortable surface where every little storm breaks you? Because storms are coming. Wake up. No need to float around in clouds.

Appreciation doesn’t mean to be blindly in love and to focus only on the good.
Appreciation is the courage to feel life flow through you, where chaos and storms only increase the fire in your heart and where with every challenge you get more intense and true.
Appreciation is the courage to love so deeply, that there is self-sacrifice - in which the stillness speaks with the voice of God.
