Redang Island 1!

in #photography7 years ago

Malaysia is filled with brilliant places that are filled with much culture, scenery and exotic foods. I truly enjoyed my time in Malaysia and had to make sure to visit various parts of the country to get an authentic experience all round. With some time on my hands, I decided to head down to Redang Island for a few days. The Island is known as a paradise resort that resides in Kuala Nerus of Terengganu. The pictures I had seen online about this place had piqued my interest and many of the reviews from travellers has praised it for its beautiful sandy beaches and clear waters. With the weather being so beautiful over the last few days, it was the first time to make my way to the island. I was looking forward to exploring this sandy getaway and may even take the chance to scope out some more diving opportunities. I was simply hooked by all the things available to me to do out here.

Redang is relatively near to the Perhentian Islands and as a result, most tourists will visit both of these areas at the same time of year. The monsoon season will be identical for both of them and travellers will need to plan beforehand as it really isn’t a good idea to head to a beach holiday during those times. In fact, many of the businesses close shop during the monsoon period due to safety and lack of business.
