Because of the climate, most of the forests in Finland are coniferous. Fun fact: well over 70% of Finland's area is woods.
This shot is from a path we trekked to get to a nearby lake: there are plenty of routes like this around here. There was quite dense woods on both sides of the path - I imagine it's pretty difficult to advance when it's rainy, hehe
