Dirtbagging and Vanlife in Australia
I recently went to Sydney Australia for a good friends wedding, and seeing as how it was on the other side of the planet, we decided to make a trip out of it and stay for 3 weeks. It's a really fun country with so many things to see that I could write for days about our adventures (and I intend to eventually).
The most surprising part of the trip, for me, was that I somehow managed to convince my partner Caity into spending 18 days road tripping up the east coast and into the mountains, in a dirty dirty camper van. Below is a picture from a clear night at a lookout the the Blue Mountains (or the Blueys for short).

We had SO much fun in the van. In fact, we enjoyed it so much, we're planning on picking up a Van here in Canada, and road tripping all over the place.

Aw yeah West Coast = Best Coast... I'm in Oregon at the moment and it is the best.... but it doesn't have super cool vans like those ones in Sydders... I worked there for 6 months and saw those vans so much and every time they'd make me laugh. The artists couldn't possibly be paid enough for the stuck-in-traffic amusement they bring.

Thanks dude! The vans for sure are hilarious. I think my favorite message on one of them was that "Two wrongs don't make a right... just ask your parents". Laughed for a couple minutes in traffic for sure! I heard that they've recently hit some legal troubles though, because they were starting to get pretty offensive. It's a shame that people can't take a joke.
It looks like we have a lot in common... I spent a long while living the vanlife - both in Australia and Canada (West Coast).
