Natural Beauty in the Takengon Freshwater

Frankly speaking, at first I was rather reluctant to go all the way from Banda Aceh to Takengon. Initially thought the picture of this lake is the same as other lakes in Indonesia. But my mind was wrong. Looked straight, circled a few times, felt the journey of excitement along with friends. Lake Laut Tawar turns out to save a lot of beauty.

The lake that holds a lot of beauty, the story of origin, and this mystery, is very worthy to be visited. I love the beauty panorama. I do not know the history of the origin of his name. But from the stories of friends in Takengon, so named because the lake is as vast as the sea with a taste of fresh water.

The combination of terrain, hills and waters around Lake Laut Tawar presents beautiful natural beauty.

We can also see the daily activities of the Gayo highland community around the lake. From farming to fishing, fishing, gardening, plantation pest hunting.

The largest lake in Aceh has an area of ​​approximately 5,472 hectares. The length is about 17 km with a width of about 3.2 km. First time here, I was with my friends from the bike community from Banda Aceh. They encircle the lake through a circular lane that has many climbs, derivatives, and bends. They're gowes, I follow the car guarding them from behind. Ga strong, hehehe ..

Plenty of beautiful photo spots around the lake. Did not stop at all places and took many photos. Makes me come back next time with my friends.

The colorful grasses of the hills are different in other seasons. Sometimes green sometimes yellowish. Gives a different feel to each of my visits.

One moment the sky is dominated by white because of cloudy and rainy, cool also drink coffee at a warung near the shore of the lake. Enjoy the serene atmosphere. On other occasions the weather is sunny, spoiling the photographers with blue skies. All have their own beauty.
