Common Daisy
The Common Daisy, also known as the English daisy, is instantly recognizable by its bright yellow center and delicate white petals (sometimes tinged with pink). It’s a classic flower often associated with purity, childhood, and fresh beginnings. In fact, the name “daisy” is derived from the Old English “dægeseage,” meaning “day’s eye,” a reference to the way the flower opens with the morning sun and closes at night.
