As I have stated on my previous blog, I am going to post more photos of cars present at Rev UP! The Diliman Motorshow 2018 that was held last April 15, 2018. The venue was at the UP Town Center in Katipunan Avenue, Quezon City, #Philippines. Steemit Philippines @steemph is a partner on this gathering. A Steemit booth was setup to promote the platform and sell artworks by @aalagenesis. Please support their upcoming project with @artguildph. Check out this post.

At the Amphitheater

There were four cars displayed at the mall's amphitheater. This is the also the place where the Steemit booth and the other sponsors' booth were located. The first car that caught my attention was the Classic Hot Red Chevrolet Camaro. There are also convertible Camaros but this one was a 2-door coupe model. If you are interested in owning the newest model of the Chevy Camaro, price starts at +$26,000. Chevrolet claims that reaching 0 - 60 in 3.5 seconds is possible with the Camaro ZL1 model but it comes with a whopping price tag of +$61,500 or +Php 3.1 m 🤑. I think taxes are not yet included in these prices. Source

Next is a Vintage White Austin Lichfield car. I am not sure why I only have one decent photo of this car. Maybe there were so many people taking selfies and I forgot to go back and take more photos. 😅

Colored and Black & White version - Oxin Vintage Car

There is a black vintage car on display but I don't know its model. The only clue I got was the "Oxin" logo at its trunk on the back. I converted the photo above to black & white to give it a more classic/noir feels. It looks it came from an old movie. 😄

Anyone around who knows about this car?

Last but not the least in this area is a 1951 White Chevrolet 3100 truck. The truck has cool looking white sidewall tires. It was my first time seeing that weird tube-like contraption mounted on its window. Apparently, it was a car cooler or swamp cooler. I think this is an old school air conditioner for cars. It is reliant to water evaporation for its cooling effect. Source

More Cars at the Valet parking area

If you enjoyed the four cars displayed above, you can see more cars if you went to the parking area behind the mall. It is where the main carshow event was held. There was a stage and in front of it, the cars entered for the car show competition were parked.

Walking to the event area, I immediately noticed the group of Volkswagen Karmann Ghia.

The Karmann Ghia that I saw were coupe types but there is also a convertible model. Karmann Ghia is a sporty coupe/convertible car was produced by Volkswagen from 1955 to 1974. It used the same chassis as the Volkswagen Beetle. Source

I also saw a Vintage Plymouth car. I don't know the exact model but it is a 2-door coupe type; maybe from the 1950s. It certainly stand out because its shape is different from the other cars that were present. This car definitely gives the classic feeling specially when you see its interior.

Lastly, there was also a Ford Shelby Mustang GT500 KR Cobra Jet 428 (That is a long name for a car 😆). This car started out as GT500 but when they added the Cobra Jet 428 in 1968, GT500 KR replaced it. KR means "King of the Road". There were famous actors who bought and drove this car model like Bruce Willis (Armageddon), James Garner (The Notebook), Paul Newman and Kevin Costner. Source

I still have more cool and awesome cars to share with you. Thank you for reading! Stay tuned for more photos! ✌️
