A Farewell To Fall

(All photos taken by @paradigm42)
Alas as winter has seen fit to arrive early in the northeast, fall has ended far too soon. I decided to post an small ode to our short but sweet fall as my first post in quite some time.

I took these around mid fall as some trees were already completely changed, and others had just barely started to turn.

I'm lucky to have several lakes within driving distance in which to visit on occasion. There is a small park open to the public here that gives access to the water.

I like how the still green foliage frames the lake and the beautiful fall colored trees in the distance.

I took these next few photos later towards the end of fall in late october. All the trees other than the evergreens have changed over, and the gray sky foreshadows the winter weather soon to come.

The view is lovely here in any season, but I do love how all the colorful fall foliage frames the Adirondacks in the distance.

As of today this whole area is covered in snow, making this scene a fond memory for the moment..

Yesterday we got our first real snow storm of the season, I took this during the storm while at work. I am not a big fan of winter, but I do find the snow as it first falls very pretty.
I hope you have enjoyed my little farewell to fall. As always remember that its all about the little things in life, and thanks for looking in! :)
All those beautiful colours! Especially on the 3rd shot... the trees lit by the sun.. Amazing :)
And then bam! Snow :D Which is beautiful too.
