Rescue Dogs

in #photography7 years ago (edited)

Hello!
I would like to share some recent photographs taken of my rescue dog. I believe that they show her playful side while also displaying her confidence and alertness when she protects the family. Although she is small, she is mighty and tough. Many times people pass over rescue dogs and head straight towards the purebreds because they think they are better dogs. I am here to say that rescue dogs are some of the most affectionate and loving dogs out there. They are so grateful for a home and loving family. My family and I recused Lucy when she was only a puppy. She was found roaming the streets of a neighborhood all by herself. When given the opportunity, my family volunteered to adopt Lucy as our own. As she grew up, we noticed that she was anxious and showing signs that she had been abused as a puppy. But, with lots of love and attention, Lucy grew up to be a confident and friendly dog. She loves to cuddle and enjoys going for walks daily. So, before going straight to breeders for purebred dogs, remember those dogs who are less fortunate and need a home. Give rescue dogs a chance, and bring their unique and happy personalities into your home.
