Remember Barney the Kooikerhondje puppy? Look at him now :)
Hi there my Steemian friends and followers!
Some 9 months ago, I introduced you to my mum´s new doggie Barney in this post. It was shortly before I headed out to Mexico so I could´t really keep you updated on how Barney has been doing (and growing). But I am back home now so here is another post dedicated to this furry bundle of joy :)
Barney is almost one year old now so he is pretty much fully grown. He is a Kooikerhondje and this breed doesn´t get that big though. He weighs in just some 11 kg (24 lb).
Let me now show you a few photos of Barney that I just took. Actually, I had to take dozens of photos of him to get at least a few that are not blurry as he is hyper active and hardly ever stands still :D
Just for the sake of comparison, here is what Barney looked like those 9 months ago.
Besides being extremely hyper active, he might also be the weirdest dog ever as he loves to pick and eat fruits and veggies! Yep, he would just hang around the garden and pick strawberries, red and black current, blueberries, cherries, peas, carrots and anything else that he would come across. I actually took a video of him picking and eating gooseberries and I will share it with you in one of my next D-Tube Wednesday posts so stay tuned for more Barney´s antics ;)

Barney is a beautiful vegan doggies :) many things change in 9 months us included.

Haha, he was trying but his energy is just inexhaustible. Basically, he only doesn´t move when sleeping :D

What a gorgeous dog. I have only seen the breed in photos. They're also called a Dutch Decoy Spaniel and they are known for tolling, walking up and down the beach waving their tail to lure waterfowl into nets. The Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever may have these dogs as part of its ancestry.

Fully agree with the adorable and happy part but cannot agree with peaceful :D He is like a tireless rocket flying all over the house and garden :D

Just keep him away from grapes and raisins, because they can and will cause serious damage to dog's livers or even complete liver failure!
