In my dreams, I always find myself returning to the quiet sanctuary captured in the image. I am walking down that familiar, narrow paved path, where the air smells of sun-warmed earth and crushed autumn leaves. Above me, a brilliant canopy of vibrant green leaves weaves together, filtering the afternoon sun into a soft, dancing mosaic of light and shadow across the ground. There is a profound, aching stillness here, interrupted only by the gentle whisper of a breeze through the branches.

As I follow the gentle curve of the walkway, a deep sense of longing washes over me—a yearning for a time or a presence that feels just out of reach. The low wooden posts and wire borders line the path like silent guardians, guiding my steps toward an unseen destination wrapped in the emerald embrace of the woods. The way the light spills across the open grass to the right makes the world feel infinitely wide, yet deeply intimate, as if this entire forest exists solely to cradle my quietest thoughts.

But just as the path begins to disappear into the dense, sun-dappled bend ahead, the dream always starts to fray at the edges. I reach out, desperately wanting to know what lies beyond that next turn, wanting to stretch this peaceful afternoon into an eternity. Before I can find out, I wake up, left only with the lingering warmth of the sun on my skin and the persistent, beautiful ache to return to the world inside the image.
