In this afternoon, the world is a soft smear of emerald and slate, viewed through a window that never opens. There is only the rhythmic pulse of the tracks, a mechanical heartbeat carrying me toward a destination I cannot quite name. The blur of passing trees feels like a memory slipping through my fingers—vibrant and urgent, yet always just out of reach.

Beyond the rushing metal lies a valley where the air is heavy with the scent of damp earth and ancient rain. I long to stand in those distant, terraced fields where the silence is absolute and the mountains hold the gray sky in a gentle embrace. It is a place of deep, rooted stillness, a stark contrast to the kinetic rush that keeps me a permanent stranger to the land.

I want to step out into the tall grass and feel the vibration of the journey finally fade. The day is the ache to belong to the landscape instead of merely passing it by. I remain a passenger, forever reaching for a home that exists only in the quiet, green heart of the horizon.
