Living on the east coast of the USA has its benefits although we also have seasonal periods of gray depressing skies that take a toll on the mood of the place. However overcast skies can be perfect for diffused lighting in photography.

Our modern phones can produce some beautiful imagery, with a little editing I was able to get a film look on this photo.
