Birch stump with new shoots / Birkenstumpf mit neuen Trieben

Directly at my house, a birch planted itself and had to be removed from me. For this I have sawed it off directly above the ground and removed the approximately 4-meter long trunk. After a few weeks, now a whole forest of birches has come into being: 21 small tribes are seeking the light and growing like crazy as a small bush. I underestimated this energy of nature.

What do I do now? The original strain has obviously reached the groundwater and provides the small shoots very splendid. For now, I just let it all stand and see what happens next. Maybe I'll make a bonsai forest out of it :)

Direkt an meinem Haus hat sich eine Birke selbst angepflanzt und mußte von mir entfernt werden. Dazu habe ich sie direkt über dem Boden abgesägt und den ca 4 Meter langen Stamm entfernt. Nach wenigen Wochen ist jetzt ein ganzer Wald der Birken entstanden: 21 kleine Stämme suchen das Licht und wachsen wie verrückt als kleiner Busch. Diese Energie der Natur habe ich unterschätzt.

Was mache ich nun? Der ursprüngliche Stamm hat ganz offensichtlich das Grundwasser erreicht und versorgt die kleinen Triebe ganz prächtig. Fürs erste lasse ich das ganze nun einfach so stehen und schaue was weiter passiert. Eventuell mache ich einen Bonsai Wald daraus :)
