🍁Indian summer on the Schauinsland☀️
Greetings Steemians!
This weekend I had the pleasure to hike up the Schauinsland near Freiburg where I could dive deep into autumn's warm color bath. The weather was just perfect and I can hardly remember enjoying such temperatures in October.

In the background the hilltop of the Feldberg, the highest summit in the Black Forrest mountain range.
Other creatures enjoy the warm autumn sun, too.
To still have time for a city walk through Freiburg I had decided to descent with the cable car.

Nice! I love the views from above the clouds. There is a place here in Southern California near where I live that you get an above cloud view like this. Unfortunately the scenery isn't as nice though.

The shades of Autumn are my favourite time of year. How magnificent your photos are, as usual @shaka! We get very little of those fiery colours in our trees, being mostly thorn and the indigenous South African evergreen. At least in our semi-desert corner of the world

Hey @shaka! Thanks for sharing these beautiful landscape photos with us :) Here, in the country of your eastern neighbors, the landscape looks similar. We been also having unusually warm and sunny October but autumn has already taken full control. Here are two shots of mine. The first one was taken some 10 days ago, the other one yesterday. You can see the autumn progressing pretty fast :)

Way to early for snow, but this is autumn in canada last weekend.
Should warm up next weekend, and the snow will disappear.
