If you wer in Munnar should visit Cherai beach, puthupally beach, Fort Kochi and Jew street.... I happen to be from Kochi and these are places to hang out with your DSLR.
I was planning for Munnar next long weekend. Thanks for the list mate.

Do visit the eco point, suicide point and there is a garden too there... If you got time visit Kochin for it's beaches. Drive safe, there are hairpin curves.
