Stairway to Nowhere

While driving through Oregon earlier I came across an abandoned foundation alongside the road. It had been completely overgrown while having great views of the Columbia River!

I am a sucker for abandoned places, while creepy I love the serenity you can find while asking all the obvious questions about what must have happened here because who wouldn't want a property on such a beautiful location!?
