I spent 40 minutes or so out in the garden this evening to watch the Perseids meteors - I wasn't disappointed. The moon was in good shape too.

It was around 22:20 and saw around half a dozen in the first 5 minutes.

I'll look out tonight if it's not overcast. Raining here currently. I guess they are not easy to photograph.

I’ve never tried it I imagine a provers or taking long exposures until you strike it lucky. Either that or cheat like I did with lightening, film and then capture the individual frame you want.
