Victoria Memorial (Kolkatta)-Mypictureday submission
The shot taken during my recent Kolkatta visit, using IPhone7 and all are my original works. I tried to capture the beauty of the monument as much as possible. Built by the Britishers, the monument is in itself a hallmark in India. Built using white marble imported from Italy and other parts of the world in that era is itself a stupendous work by the architecture.
The Frontal view, with public gazing the beauty.
The closer look of the monument with the green lawn.
The back side of the monumnet, with bit cloud hovering around in the sky. One of my bestest shot.
No editing and no special effect used in the Pic. I put them into a simple original works.
@timsaid Thanks for the contest,Hope the picture is perfect from amateur angle and will be included in the contest.

Great pictures. The british empire really did dominate the world for a time.
At least they left some great buildings. I prefer not to think about the human costs in building them!
Indeed! In that era the amount of manual work is more in absence of any machine and technology. Still they succeded in building the beauty.
