RE: (Bad) Planetary photography - Saturn
I managed to see some of Jupiter's moons with the telescope we have, but I really need to learn to operate out properly. Not sure if I can hook up a camera to it. Probably need an adapter. You did well for a first go.
The viewing for Jupiter has been great recently. The girls had friends visiting this week and we managed to see it with 4 moons - they were all very excited (as was the mother of the visitors). I use a special webcam for photos which are made up of 100s of stacked frames. My telescope has a motor which tracks the subject which makes it a little easier.

Mine has no motor. I may look at donating it to someone who can make good use of it as I've not used it on ages.
