RE: Castle Hochosterwitz / Burg Hochosterwitz
I would be surprised if anyone uses it more than us, perhaps we over do it?
ITs funny often when something is close its all to easy to put off visiting it, same with some of the tourist spots in NYC I only ever went to them when we had visitors

The beerlover upvotes each comment, which uses the !BEER what reduces his RC. They will fix that soon from 5% at the time to a very much lower value.
Right, we live and work near a beautiful lake, where people pay to make holidays and go swimming. The last time I have been in that water is about 10 years ago, when the kids were much younger 😉

SO us being so generous with !BEER is creating part of the problem I gather LOL
And yet you will drive for a few hours to visit other lakes, isnt it funny how we all do that
Yes, but we are not the only ones ... maybe the biggest !BEER givers though 😉
I don't like to swim in lakes anyway, and my wife does not like that too. I need to see the ground ;)
Also, our lake is too expensive and there are too many tourists. I prefer to go to this lake and also to the other lakes, to which I drive for hours, as you say, in the mornings before the tourists are awake ;)
I have swum in a few lakes over the years, but back then I was a strong swimmer so I was fine , but nowadays I think if I was going to swim a nice heated pool would be my choice lOl
!BEER
I do prefer a pool too, but it does not need to be heated - all I need is to see the ground 😉
!BEER
Well non heated is fine on a hot day for me, but I hate these days jumping into a pool and feeling so cold, even though I know after a minute in there you adjust and it doesnt feel so cold
!BEER
I have never been in a heated pool, apart from the jacuzzi of a friend ;) lol
We have a few friends with a house, but none has a heated pool, so I cannot say how it is, but I can imagine on not so hot days it might be cool ... ähm warm ;)
!BEER
Well its been years since in a heated Pool, if you ever visit New Zealand, make sure to head to Rotorua and or Taupo, they are close together, that have many geothermal pools, naturally headed, I would always visit there each time I went back home
