Dubai Real Estate Rental Transaction Report

Week: 22 – 28 March 2026

Dubai’s rental registry recorded 17,444 transactions during the week, with a total value of AED 10,205,096,500 (USD 2,778,787,202). Conversions are based on the fixed exchange rate of 3.6725.

Activity was led by residential contracts in terms of volume, while commercial segments contributed a significant share of total value. Renewals continued to represent the larger portion of transactions, though new contracts accounted for the higher aggregate value.

A total of 152 other localities recorded activity, with a combined value of AED 2,399,796,970. Examples from the next highest areas include Al Barsha First, Dubai Investment Park Second, and Al Thanyah Fifth.


Conclusion

Renewals accounted for the majority of transaction volume, while new contracts carried higher aggregate value. Residential usage remained the dominant segment by count.

Free Hold properties generated the larger share of value despite lower transaction volume compared to Non Free Hold. Within property types, Unit transactions accounted for the majority of activity, with flats and labor camps representing the largest components by both volume and value.
