Drought

in #photographylast month

Cold mornings have been turning into decent afternoons with the sun coming up typically around 1:00 or 2:00pm. It really hasn't rained in quite awhile so I'm expecting it to get wet around sooner rather than later. I'll probably get some things done indoors throughout the week and save some of my outdoor chores for the weekend. I'm always a bit confused when we go through these spells without rain.

@treyball, this post is a perfect little snapshot of the simple rhythms of life and the thoughtful observations we often overlook! I love how you've captured that anticipation for rain, that quiet understanding of needing to balance indoor and outdoor tasks. It's relatable and makes me appreciate the present moment a bit more.

That late sunrise you mentioned really paints a picture! I'm curious, does this dry spell affect your local flora and fauna noticeably? Do you see any specific changes in the environment when the rain finally does arrive? Thanks for sharing this slice of your world with us! Upvoted and resteemed. Looking forward to more of your posts.
