Motivasi diri merupakan proses pembelajaran bagaimana individu menghadapi sebuah kesulitan, menghadapi berbagai masalah, mengatasi kegagalan-kegagalan, guna mencapai tujuan yang diinginkan. Motivasi merupakan gambaran seberapa besar kekuatan seseorang untuk melakukan sesuatu dan apa yang sebenarnya yang ingin dilakukan.

Alangkah asyiknya jika kita memiliki diri dalam bentuk "Motivation Master Key" merupakan kunci induk untuk memotivasi, yang jika masukkan ke lobangnya, maka kita bisa memotivasi setiap orang yang kita inginkan. Seorang penceramah agama akan bisa memotivasi umatnya untuk bersedia beribadah agar masuk sorga, asalkan penceramah itu tahu kunci apa yang harus dipergunakan untuk mengakses pikiran dan motivasi umatnya.
Contohnya saat sebelum ada kunci digital berbentuk kartu plastik seperti ATM, maka memiliki Master Key adalah kewajiban bagi sebuah hotel. Master Key adalah kunci yang bisa membuka semua kunci pintu kamar yang ada di hotel tersebut. Sehingga jika ada kunci yang dihilangkan oleh penyewa, pihak hotel masih bisa membukanya dengan master key.
Misalnya lagi fungsi setelah mempunyai "kunci motivasi diri" didalam diri kita, seperti dalam mencari ide-ide atau bahan materi yang ingin kita tampilkan dalam tulisan di Steemit, mencari dan menggali wawasan untuk menulis sesuatu hal yang menarik, sehingga tulisan kita mempunyai nilai informasi yang menarik untuk dibaca oleh kawan-kawan Steemit.
Juga misalnya dalam dalam urusan rumah tangga, seorang suami/istri bisa memotivasi pasangannya agar dia bisa mendapatkan kunci surga setiap saat ia membutuhkannya. Tidak perlu dengan cara memaksa, tidak perlu membujuk rayu, tidak perlu pakai amarah, cukup gunakan kunci induk ini, sehingga segala persoalan rumah tangga bisa diatasi dengan mudah.
