Green sand beach located on the Big Island Hawai'i. Hawai'i is known for having active volcanoes along with black and green sand beaches. It is something you definitely have to see at least once in your lifetime. To get to the green sand beach, you must walk about 4 miles to get to the beach. Unless you have a 4x4 which you can use to get there faster instead of walking. Once you get there there is a small ladder you must use to get to the bottom where the beach is located. It isn't anything intense so don't worry. However, it is hot and sunscreen and water is a must. Don't let the volcanoes scare you, big island Hawai'i is beautiful! 😍

I love the "Big Island". When I visited this beach in '08 it was almost empty of people except for this old man who assumed it was clothing optional.
The Big Island is beautiful! It's still a bit empty, tourists make it look less empty of course. But the locals are awesome!
