The Rusted Memory of the City

in #photographyyesterday

Relics of the past survive in a harsh present, like symbols of something that was once immense for many and today only whispers its former greatness. Havana preserves the most diverse and bizarre things one can encounter. A war tank frozen in time, cars from the 1950s still breathing the streets, fragments of Spanish architecture with centuries of history holding on through memory alone.

Here everything coexists. The glorious and the broken, the epic and the everyday. On every corner there is a remnant, a trace, a story that refuses to fully disappear. Today I want to share with you a small fraction of that scattered universe that reveals itself while walking. I hope you like it.
